Date: May 2, 1:00 pm-12:00am
Continues Until:
Location: 730 25 Rd.
Details: On Saturday, May 2 at 1:00pm, the Grand Valley Interfaith Network (GVIN) and Koinonia church are hosting a free Teen Spirit interfaith experience in commemoration of World Labyrinth Day. Area Youth 12-17 are invited to join thousands around the world who will “Walk as One at 1” local time to create a rolling wave of peaceful energy passing from one time zone to the next. The walk will take place rain or shine. Koinonia is located at 730 25 Rd on the southeast corner of 25 Road and G 3/8 Road. In addition to the labyrinth walk, teens can create a sigil, engage in conversation, and enjoy light refreshments. Youth are encouraged to bring sunscreen, water bottles, and hats. Adults interested in participating in the 18th annual World Labyrinth Day have two other local options – at First Congregational United Church of Christ and St. Matthews Episcopal Church; both are accessible 24/7.
