Food, film, and conversation

Add to your calendar
Date: April 22, 5:30 pm-8:30pm
Continues Until:
Location: Mesa County Central Library, 443 N 6th St, Grand Junction, CO 81501
Details: Light meal featuring sandwiches, salads, and beverages. Seating is first-come, first-served. Librarians emerge as first responders in the fight for democracy and our First Amendment Rights. Through their stories, we see librarians not just as information providers, but as protectors of trust, democracy, and civic connection. Following the film, participants will gather to share their own library stories and reflect on how public spaces hold communities together. This conversation invites us to consider the role of access, dialogue, and civic institutions in shaping informed communities.
