The 23rd Annual Home Loan Taste of the Grand Valley “Samples & Sips” is an outdoor food and beverage festival that will be held on more...0 Friday, May 2 at the Historic Lowell School Building. Come enjoy delicious samples from local food trucks and caterers, tasty sips from local wineries and breweries, live music, and more. This outdoor event is an more...0 opportunity for library lovers 21 and older to support the library while enjoying an evening in the library's Discovery Garden and 970West Studio. Sip your support while sharing an evening of camaraderie with heavy hors d'oeuvres, beverages, unique art activities, and live bluegrass music courtesy of Grand Junction's own Big Dominguez. Saturday May 3rd, 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with entrance to the event at the 5th Street gate of the Discovery Garden. Tickets are limited, $40 in advance, and attendees must be 21 or older. Our Maestro’s careful curation of pieces aimed at celebrating the Joy of our shared humanity, is a fitting season finale for a season aimed at elevating our audience, musicians and community. When to Arrive: Doors open one hour before the performance; most people arrive 40 minutes early. Concessions are available before the concert and at intermission. Dress Code: Wear what you like; dressing up is optional. General Guide for Applause: Clap for the Concertmaster, Conductor, and after each piece.
